David A. Green, 71, of Grand Island passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, with family by his side.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Island. There will be a gathering of family and friends a half-hour prior to service time, as Mr. Green had chosen cremation. The Rev. Cathryn Love will officiate.

Burial of ashes will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with full military honors at a later date.
He was born June 26, 1947, to Homer and Marie Green at Harrisburg, Pa.

Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Sue of Grand Island; brother, Homer Green Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Mike (Shelly) Green of Lincoln, Dustin Green of Grand Island, Shawn Bellm of Lincoln; daughter, Kaycee Sciandra of Lincoln; and grandchildren, Kennedy Sciandra, and Amber, Cody and Zach Green.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
