Obituary for Dean Larson

Dean Larson, 74, of Grand Island died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Tiffany Square.Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the sanctuary of Trinity United Methodist Church. Reverend Russell Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.There will be no visitation. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.Dean was born April 27, 1943 at Grand Island the son of Cecil and Bertha "Sally" (Carlson) Larson.Survivors include his mother, Bertha "Sally" Larson of Grand Island; his sister, Jeanne (Tom) Graves of Grand Island and two nephews, Brian Graves of Kearney and Danny (Jodi) Graves of Hastings and great-nephews and a niece, Carsten and Parker Graves, and Jackson and Madilyn Graves and his aunt, Twila Larson of Grand Island.He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil and great-nephew, Marcus Graves.Dean was raised and received his education in Grand Island. He worked for Owl Auto Parts for 45 years. Some of his enjoyments included family gatherings, riding his bike and spending summers at the lake.He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; Methodist Men helping on service projects at Camp Comeca and the Odd Fellows Lodge.Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church.
