Obituary for Herman "Bud" Zalud III

Bud Zalud, 55, longtime Grand Island resident passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018.Celebration of life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. There will be a private family burial.Herman J. Zalud III "Bud" was born on October 1, 1962 in North Platte, son of Herman J. Zalud Jr. and Margie (Eyten) Zalud. Bud spent most of his youth in the Doniphan area where he graduated from High School. Bud took pride in a job well done and knew the value of hard work. For many years he was a dedicated employee of Sunrise Express as a trailer technician. On August 6, 1993 he married the love of his life, DeAnn.Even though Bud worked hard he knew how to "let his hair down" and have a little fun as well. Bud was never blessed with his own children, but that just gave him more love for all of his nieces and nephews.Bud's memory is celebrated by his brother, Mike (Connie) Zalud of Edgar; sister, Robin Nehls of Grand Island; also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, DeAnn and Parents. Memorials are suggested to the family.
