Obituary for Jac Reinhardt
Jac Reinhardt, 41 of Cairo died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial along with his father, Jimmie will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Reverend Don Buhrman will be the Celebrant. Burial of ashes will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will be greeting friends before service time. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family. Jac was born March 9, 1975 at Grand Island the son of Jimmie and Susan (Lofholm) Reinhardt. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Susan (Danny) Ewoldt of Grand Island; sister, Jill (Ted) Granere of Grand Island; brother, Rick (Heather) Perkins of Waverly; sister-in-law, Carolyn Baird of Texas; his soulmate, Cassie Rainforth and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. His father, Jimmie died two days following. Jac is preceded in death by his brother, Scott. Jac was raised in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Senior High class of 1993. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hooker Brothers for many years and recently was employed by Road Builders Machinery as a product support and sales rep and technical support expert. Jac loved hunting. He built his own lake for his duck and goose blind. He would take his dad hunting even as Jimmie's health declined. As he loved life, some of his other enjoyments included four-wheeling on the river, coyote calling-hunting, playing Keno and he was an excellent gunsmith. His license plate read, "DOGHOG". Jac loved people and spending time with friends. His legacy will be treasured by many. Memorials are suggested to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
