LAKESIDE, Calif. - Jean Marie (Haddix) Rauert, 88, of Lakeside, Calif., formerly of Grand Island, died on Feb. 11, 2018.
Jean was born on Feb. 22, 1929, in Grand Island, daughter of Austin and Edna (Smith) Haddix.

She is survived by her husband, Don Rauert of Lakeside; daughters, Sonya Maul of Lakeside, Jannis Parrish of Sherman, Texas, Karen Freazzine of Denver and LeAnn Smith of Odessa, Texas; as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

To honor Jean's wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no services. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
