Obituary for Jimmie Reinhardt
Jimmie Reinhardt, 70 of Grand Island died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at CHI Health-St. Francis. Mass of Christian Burial along with his son, Jac will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Reverend Don Buhrman will be the Celebrant. Burial of ashes will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will be greeting friends before service time. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family. Jimmie was born October 17, 1945 at Grand Island the son of Alex and Viola (Lierman) Reinhardt. Survivors include daughter, Jill (Ted) Granere of Grand Island; son, Rick (Heather) Perkins of Waverly; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Baird of Texas and grandchildren, Harper, Piper, Dylan, Austin, Nora and Ashley. He is preceded in death by his sons, Scott and Jac who passed on Thursday, September 8, 2016 and brother, Jerry. Jimmie was raised in Cairo where he graduated from Cairo High School class of 1964. He married Connie Starkey in 1964. Later he was united in marriage to Susan Lofholm in 1972. Following his graduation from high school Jimmie began working for Northwestern Gas Company and continued with them until his retirement. Some of his enjoyments included hunting, playing Keno, gardening and spending time with friends at the Platt Duetsche. He was a jack-of-all trades and could fix anything. Memorials are suggested to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
