Kevin D. Oberschulte 60, of Grand Island found victory over his bout with cancer on Sunday, January 19, 2025 with his loving daughters by his side.
Services will be 10:30 AM Friday, January 24th at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Reverend Bill Pavuk will officiate. Casual dress is requested as we all know that he was a simple man. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Memorials are suggested to the family to be determined later.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Kevin was born on July 2, 1964 in Grand Island the son of Melvin D. and Lorraine H. (Molczyk) Oberschulte. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High class of 1982.
Kevin has worked for Hornady Manufacturing for the past 13 years. Some of his enjoyments included playing the guitar, horse racing, comic books, vinyl records and was a K.C. Chiefs fan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Miranda (Norman Symonette) Oberschulte of Florida and Kira (Eric Eaton) Oberschulte of Iowa; his parents, Melvin and Lorraine Oberschulte of Grand Island; sister, Lisa (Kurt) Kruse of Grand Island, along with nieces, a great niece and many cousins and friends.
