Linda Sue (Spiehs) Perrelet, 60, of Grand Island, died on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016.

Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate.
Linda was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Grand Island, the daughter of Bradley and Theodora (Deertz) Spiehs. She grew up in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High, Class of 1974.
Linda married her high school sweetheart, Tell Perrelet on Aug. 24, 1974. She traveled with him while he was in the Navy and then the couple made their home in Grand Island. Linda was employed as a med aide with the Veterans Home, Tiffany Square and Bickford Cottage.
Caring and compassionate, Linda collected as many strays as she could. A loving wife, mother and new grandmother, she was always looking out for the welfare of her beloved family.
Survivors include her husband, Tell; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Michael Smidt, of Omaha and their daughter, Eden; brothers, Ken (Barb) Spiehs of Tennessee, Dennis (Viv) Spiehs of Worms and Tim Spiehs of Minnesota; sisters, Sheryl (Dale) Sullivan of Michigan and Lisa Spiehs of Grand Island; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bradley Spiehs and Theodora Oltman; grandparents; son, TJ Perrelet; and stepfather, Leo Oltman.
