Obituary for Marion L. Fox

Marion L. Fox, 94 of Grand Island died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Grand Island Veterans Home.Celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Reverend Kelly Karges will officiate. Family entombment will be prior to the service in the Westlawn Mausoleum.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home.Mrs. Fox was born November 17, 1922 at Lewellen, NE the daughter of Clarence and Velma (Magnuson) Beard.She graduated from Kearney High School class of 1941. On June 20, 1943 she was united in marriage to Charley W. Fox. To this union were born two sons, David and Daniel.Marion loved to knit and sew. She was a very crafty women. Her hobbies gave her great joy. She loved bowling and loved her dogs. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, David (Cindy) Fox of Grand Island and Daniel (Carmen) Fox of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jonathan) Franta, Holly (Michael) Sack, Joshua (Morgan) Fox and Colby (Randi) Fox; her great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Andrew Franta, Kyler, Kamden and Kyndel Sack, Grayson and Sawyer Fox, and Layla Jo Fox; her brother, Jack Beard of Lewellen and a special friend, Judy Taylor.She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley who died August 25, 2003; her parents; sisters, Josephine, Jean and Delores and her brothers, Bill and Ron.Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
