Obituary for Nicole Lynn Whelan

Nicole Lynn Whelan, 41 of Grand Island died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at CHI Health St. Francis.Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be from noon till service time at the funeral home.Nicole was born April 4, 1976 at Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Butch and Joyce (Fugate) Whelan.Survivors include her children, Jordan Brandt, Mariah Brandt and Riley Whelan-Towler all of Grand Island; her parents Butch and Joyce Whelan of Grand Island; brothers, Brian (Diane) Whelan of Grand Island and Warren (Michelle) Whelan of Aurora and a sister, Michelle (Rolando) Reyes of Grand Island and special niece and nephews, Sasha Chavez, Robert Fugate and Charles Chavez.Nicole was raised in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Senior High class of 1994. Some of her enjoyments included reading, watching movies, crotchet and loved her cat and dog. Her greatest joy was loving and taking care of her children.Memorials are suggested to the family.
