Obituary for Patricia White

Patricia White, 85, of Grand Island passed away, surrounded by her family, on April 1, 2019. Celebration of life services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at All Faiths Funeral Home, with visitation the hour prior. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.Patricia was born on October 5, 1933 at Denver, CO, daughter of Robert and May Katherine (Canoy) Swanson. She grew up in the Denver area until 1950, when she made Grand Island her home. Patricia was a loving and dedicated mother to her 11 children. She loved being a part of their everyday lives. She was employed in the housekeeping department of the old St. Francis Hospital and at Mid-Nebraska Mental Health Services. Most recently she was employed at Arby's in Grand Island. Patricia always loved the mountains and enjoyed camping and fishing often with her children. She enjoyed working in her garden and any free time she had left, she cross-stitched and loved to play Yahtzee with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Betty Bachmier of Spokane, WA, Ruth (Barry) Wood of Grand Island, Nancy Beeder of Grand Island, Charles (Pat) Rodenbaugh of Cairo, Cheryl (Steve) Timmons of Wood River, Robin Rodenbaugh of Grand Island, Penny Clark of Grand Island, Kevin Rodenbaugh of Grand Island, Jack Rodenbaugh of Central City, Michael (Tammy) Rodenbaugh of Grand Island; brother, Delbert "Tony" (Vera) Swanson of Denver; sister, Emma (Bob) Smith of Grand Junction, CO; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Hugelman; brother, Walter Swanson; sister, Mary Tafoya; grandson, Brent Rodenbaugh.Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later dat
