Richard Wayne Whitefoot, 93, of Grand Island passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at the Grand Island Veterans Home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Interment with military honors will be at Westlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family or to Trinity United Methodist Church.
Richard Wayne Whitefoot was born Aug. 16, 1923, to Edward and Florence (Crowe) Whitefoot. He was united in marriage to Darlene Bremer on June 9, 1949, at Boelus. She passed away Aug. 30, 2016. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his identical twin brother, Donald Dean Whitefoot and his wife, Venus; his sister, Dorothey Hefner; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
