Virginia A. Schafer, 86, of Grand Island, NE, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at Heritage at Sagewood, in Grand Island, NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Martin L. Egging will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2019, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Curran Funeral Capel with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic church.
